Pasquale Grasso Eugene Concert reviews
A Very Good Night out
"I must say this topped off my 38th wedding anniversary night out in the most amazing way. We loved Pasquale Grasso. This is our third time seeing it and I want to say it was just as entertaining as the first time. I particularly enjoyed how the chandelier came out over the audience, along with several scenes such as the phantom jumping from the bridge, disappearing in the last scene, and how they made the stage appear as a river. The music is always enjoyable, and of course, when I got home, I looked for my CD to start playing it again in my vehicle while traveling.
I would recommend it to others, and I would see it again when it comes back to town. The only thing I would have liked better is if the music was a little louder since we sat in the upper balcony near the back. Maybe it was the Opera House, but the music wasn't as dynamic as when I saw it before. I didn't feel the music, the vibrations as the organ played, and the orchestra hitting the bass notes."
